How these numbers are calculated
- Each completed IP Lens speed test is stored without your IP address: only the provider (ASN), country, region and the measured values are kept.
- We show the median rather than the average, so a few very fast or very slow tests do not distort the result.
- Results measure the route to the IP Lens server and include Wi-Fi and home equipment, so they are usually lower than advertised plan speeds.
