What your connection can handle

How to read the result
The test first measures ping and jitter with small requests, then downloads and uploads data samples between your browser and the IP Lens server. Download and upload show how much data your connection moves per second; ping and jitter show how quickly and consistently it responds, which matters most for gaming and video calls.
Tips for an accurate result
- Use an Ethernet cable, or stay close to the Wi-Fi router.
- Pause downloads, streaming and cloud backups on other devices.
- Turn off your VPN unless you want to measure the VPN route.
- Run the test two or three times and at different times of day.
